"Go tell the Spartans, thou who passest by,
That here, obedient to their laws, we lie."
Epitaph of Simonides

Let me greet you and welcome you to my little corner of the web. Here you will discover all sorts of information about me and my interests and I hope you will enjoy what you find.

I've seen and done so much in my lifetime already: art & photography, mathematics, soldier in the U.S. Army, taxi driver in Boulder, father of three, electronic and mechanical assembler, computer programmer extraordinaire, student of spirituality and WoW guild master.

If anything, it's taught me that the World is bigger and more mysterious than we can even imagine. That we are here to divine and fulfill our purpose and that we each have our part to play. As soon as we think we have it figured out, and our problems are "solved" ... the World will challenge us to advance to the next level. Change is the only true constant.

I have three great kids who live at their mother's most of the time: two sons (Logan and Lukas, ages thirteen and seven) and a daughter (Victoria, age ten). They're your typical kids these days: into computers and video games ... just like their Father!

Recently I am very grateful to have have found the love of a wonderful woman. She burst into my life like a ray of sunshine in one of my darkest hours and I am more in love with her than I ever imagined I could be with anyone. Paula and her son (Logan, age six) moved up to Colorado with me earlier this summer and its been bliss ever since. We will be getting married later this year in her home town of Las Vegas.

Finally I am truly amazed at the way that the opportunities and blessings in life keep on coming: I have recently moved to Redmond, Washington to work with an amazing team on a significant project for a company I have admired for decades: Microsoft! I am one of the new software testers on the Expression Web team. The Expression suite of products represents a new and exciting direction for Microsoft and I am very happy to be involved in it.
